Everything you do is surrounded by type. It can change the way that you read, write, travel, play, and work. For this week you will research fonts/type. You will take one page of visual notes (sketchnotes) on how type changes the way we think about things. I have given you some things to watch/look at below to help you on this journey.

PROJECT
Logo Design for your classmate. Design a complete brand package for a classmate by researching their brand, creating logos, and presenting your work professionally.
Your VADA portfolio will be created and used for the entire time you are in VADA.

You will only be working in groups occasionally, you will mostly be working independently.
WEEK EIGHT & Nine- Creativity with vector art
PROJECT
Your assignment is to illustrate an idiom. An idiom is a phrase that has a non-literal meaning. Think of "it's raining cats and dogs" or "the cat's out of the bag." You don't have to do one about cats (but you can).
This project is all about being playful, a little bit clever, and very literal.
