Hi, and Welcome!

You’re here because you may be interested in sharing your time and talents with students in our program—and we’re so glad you are.

Here’s what we’re hoping you’ll do:

Give about one hour a day for a week (or whatever time you’re able to offer).
Show students what life in your creative field looks like.

You might adapt a novel, write a script, make a GIF, build a website, draft letters to editors, illustrate a concept, paint a mural, or share any other part of your creative journey. Whatever you do, our students will be excited to learn from you and your experience.

WHAT PROBLEM CAN OUR STUDENTS HELP YOU SOLVE?

● What is something that you need, that our students can accomplish in a week? You could ask them to make a new shirt design, flag, business card, sticker, typeface, menu, flyers, social media post, illustration, book cover, animation, etc.

WHERE WOULD YOU LIKE TO WORK, YOUR PLACE* OR OURS?

● Do you want students to work at our new, state of the art facility? We have two rooms designed for studio work, photography, and graphic media. We have space for 30-36 kids per room. We also have a large outdoor patio where students can work freely on canvases, iPads, paper, etc.

* If you hope to have students work in your space/ a place of your choosing please plan ahead with us so that we can coordinate a chaperone and transportation.

WHICH APP/S WILL THEY NEED?

● Is there an App we need to purchase to make this work? If you have needs/suggestions we are required to get approval from the school, so please give us ample warning.

WHAT MATERIALS CAN WE PROVIDE?

● However, you may need something more specific. What materials would you like us have prepared for the students to work with? What machines will help with the process? Please communicate your needs with us in a timely manner so that we can have them prepared for your arrival.

Fun things to know

● Don’t worry we will help you with the process. There will also be a certificated teacher on site with you and the students everyday.

● One thing all of them will agree on is that this is the best thing they have ever learned in High School thanks to you!
