Assignment:

Drawing on photos is a fun technique that allows you to express yourself and explore new ways of storytelling. It fascinating how you can bring your imagination into a photo, turning something based in the real world into a fantastical new creation.

By drawing just a few lines and shapes to create a more complex scene, you can use this technique to share a story, create eye-catching images for your business, surprise a friend with something unexpected, add aesthetics and creativity to your social media photos, and so much more!

Examples of this project

Completing this assignment requires you to do one or more of the following:

1. Change or Modify an object in the photo

2. Add new elements to enhance an already existing object in the photo

3. Add something new to the photo (this requires added attention to make sure the new elements communicate and flow well with the photo)

Composition techniques you will want to consider are:

Leading Lines- Notice where the subject's eyes are looking, notice the way that elements are pulling your focus from one area of the photo to the other. Add something that grows with the flow of the lines. Place a subject going in the direction of the lines. Add something that the lines point to.

Negative Space- Look for where there are very few elements in the photo. Try to use the space as a compliment to the figure or subject.
