Low poly art is a digital art style using a small number of polygons to create minimalist, angular, and geometric 3D models or 2D illustrations. Originally born from hardware limitations in the 1990s to speed up rendering, it is now a popular aesthetic in indie games, mobile games, and graphic design, characterized by vibrant colors, simple shapes, and a, often, nostalgic feel.
